I’ll show you how this tool works, where it’s useful, and some tips for getting the best results.
Transcript
With iOS 18.1, Apple Intelligence introduces a fantastic new Writing Tools feature that allows you to take any text you’ve written and adjust its style to make it friendlier, more professional, or even more concise. It’s versatile, working anywhere you can type—from iMessage and emails to social media posts.
To use this tool, simply highlight the text you want to modify, tap on the Writing Tools button above the keyboard, and choose your preferred style. For instance, selecting Professional will instantly adjust your text to sound more formal. If the result isn’t quite right, you can regenerate it for another version, or revert back to your original text if needed.
Remember, AI can get you 80% of the way there, but that final 20% is best handled by your own editing. Always double-check the results and make any adjustments before sending—AI tools are helpful, but your personal touch ensures the message is spot on.
