Your memories, your privacy – let’s make sure it stays that way!

Transcript

When you start storing memories and reflections in the Journal App, you might want it to become more private, perhaps like a diary. You can actually lock your app so only Face ID or Touch ID will unlock it for you. It’s really simple to do. Jump into the Settings app and then scroll halfway down till you find Journal. From here, we then have the option to lock Journal. When you put in your PIN code, you can then choose to lock your Journal so only Face ID and Touch ID will unlock it. You can also have it autolock after a certain amount of time. Perhaps if you’re coming in and out of the apps and you’re on your phone, you might want to leave that on a minute or two. But if you want to lock the minute you come out of that app, you can change that here as well. Then when I jump back into the Journal App, it authenticates by Face ID before I can view any of the content.
