Description

In this video, I’ll show you three quick and easy ways to switch between Control Center pages, whether you’re swiping, tapping, or using a continuous gesture. Discover how to efficiently access all of your controls with just a few taps and gestures.

Transcript

With the new Control Centre on iOS 18, we can now have multiple pages of controls, and believe it or not, there are three different ways to move between those pages. This is the kind of video you’ll watch once, and you’ll be doing it from now on. I’ll make it as quick as I can—here we go!

If I pull down into Control Centre on the right-hand side, I can simply swipe up through those controls to move onto the next page and the next page. But I can also tap on the icons on the right-hand side to immediately jump to a specific page that I want. So, I can perhaps go to the music page simply by tapping on it, and back to the home page by tapping on that icon. It’s really quick and really simple.

But the third way—this is my favourite—I’m going to exit Control Centre completely, and this time when I pull down, I’m not going to let go of my finger. I’m going to tap and hold, and just keep pulling further and further down. Using that one continuous gesture, I can then jump between my pages just like this. You’ll feel a little bit of haptic feedback in your hand as your phone vibrates, and the icon of the page you’re currently on will leap out of the side of the screen. I can then rub my finger up or down the screen and let go on the exact page I want to be on—all with one gesture. Super quick and super easy!

Now that iOS 18’s been released, there are so many more things that your phone can do that it simply couldn’t do before. I spent my summer playing with iOS 18, and I’ve made a ton of QuickTip videos on my channel down below. But excitingly, I’ve also written my first eBook! I’ve called it 100 QuickTips for iOS 18, and if you follow the link below, I promise you’ll find things that you never knew your phone could do now that you’ve updated to iOS 18. I’ll see you next time!
