Description

Explore the significant Dark Mode feature in iPadOS and iOS 13 in this video. Learn how to easily add the Dark Mode toggle to your Control Centre for quick access to this popular feature, allowing you to seamlessly switch between light and dark themes.

Transcript

Dark Mode is probably one of the biggest new features in iPadOS and iOS 13, and you’re going to want to turn it on and off quite often, I’d imagine. At the moment, if you swipe down to get Control Centre, you’ll notice there’s no toggle there for Dark Mode, so here’s how you go about adding it. First, we’ll go to settings and scroll down on the left-hand side to where it says Control Centre. From here, you’ll have a list of different apps and icons that you can put into your Control Centre – and one of them is called Dark Mode. Press the green plus button, and it’ll appear at the top with the ones that are now activated. You can rearrange these if you wish, and when you’re done, simply pull down from Control Centre, and you’ll see your Dark Mode toggle there, ready to go. Tap to turn it on, tap to turn it off.
