Okay, let’s go for a QuickTip speed record!

I’ve got a message thread right here with my Mum, and in the past if I wanted to reply to a particular message I had to tap and hold by long pressing, then press Reply and then type in the message.

It’s quite a few steps!

Nowadays on iOS 17 all you have to do is swipe the message sideways and it will open up a reply box straight away that I can type in, and then press Send.

It will do it as a threaded conversation for me and it is super quick.

Phew, that was quite a Quick Tip – I guess the coffee this morning really helped!
