Transcript
The Memories feature in Photos is a really lovely thing. Essentially, it curates pictures and videos together to make little mini movies for you. It will do this based on different trips, locations, people, or even days of the week—such as someone’s birthday over the years.
The problem with Memories is that they’re fleeting; they disappear after a while, a bit like our real memories, I suppose. But that’s okay, because we can actually favourite the ones we want to keep. When you find a Memory that you really like or enjoy, all you need to do is press the little heart in the top corner or long press on it and then select ‘Favourite This Memory’. Once favourited, it will appear in the Favourites tab at the top of the Memory screen, and it won’t delete itself or disappear. It will stay there for you forever, so you can tap on it and explore the photos, videos, and the mini movie that’s been created for you, anytime you like.
