About This QuickTip

In iOS 26, the App Store now includes a dedicated Accessibility section for each app. This makes it easy to see which features - like VoiceOver, captions, or larger text - are supported before you download. In this QuickTip, I’ll show you where to find it and why it’s useful for everyone.

Step by Step

  1. Scroll down an app's listing

Go onto an app in the App Store and scroll down the listing page. You're going to find the different privacy tabs at the bottom, which show all the different types of data the app collects about you.

  2. Check the Accessibility section

Underneath the privacy tabs there is now an Accessibility section, where the app can tell you what features it supports to help make it accessible for everyone. You'll see things like VoiceOver, larger text, dark interface and captions supported for videos.

  3. Compare it with other apps

Jump onto another app and scroll down the listing again, and you're going to see at the bottom all the different accessibility features that app supports. Some apps support more than others, so it's really handy to have this information at your fingertips.

Good to know

  • These accessibility features are useful for everyone to know about because they're always there and ready to use if you need them. You might just find a feature you never knew was there, which makes the app better and easier to use.
