Description
Here’s one of the nicest little touches on the iPhone: a Lock Screen wallpaper that animates to match the real weather outside, whether that’s cloudy skies, rain, snow or bright sunshine. In this short guide I’ll show you how to add the Weather wallpaper and pick your favourite look, while still customising the fonts and widgets just like any other Lock Screen. It makes your phone feel alive every time you pick it up.
Transcript
This might be my favourite iPhone wallpaper, because it doesn’t just show the weather, it actually changes and animates based on what’s happening outside right now.
Press and hold on your lock screen, and then tap the plus button to add a new lock screen wallpaper. Now, scroll down the list of options until you find Weather, and tap onto the one of the ones that you like the look of. Your iPhone will create your lock screen based on the current conditions where you are.
And at the moment, it’s kind of cloudy where I am, as it normally is. So, I’ve got these clouds drifting across the background. But if it’s raining, snowing, or bright sunshine where you are, your wallpaper will look completely different.
And of course, you can customise the fonts and widgets just like any other lock screen. It’s one of those little details that makes your iPhone feel so much more alive.
