Description

Tired of AI summaries cluttering your Google search results? If you prefer a more traditional search experience, there’s a quick and simple way to bring back the results you actually want. In this video, I’ll show you how to refine your searches for a cleaner, distraction-free browsing experience – no settings to change, no extensions required.

Transcript

I don’t know if you find it too, but when I’m browsing the web and I’m using Google, I’m getting more and more AI summaries on top of each result page. Now, sometimes these are useful, but a lot of the time, they’re not really very good for me, and they kind of just detract from the content on the page.

There’s actually a really quick way to get rid of these. So, all you need to do is, in your search query that you’ve typed in, at the end of it simply type in a minus sign and then type in *-AI*. Now, when you repeat the search, that AI box will be gone from the top of your screen, and it’s not coming back.

You can do this on any search you do on Google, and it works in the Google app, on Safari, on desktop computers—anywhere you use Google. Simply type in *-AI* at the end, and it’ll give you a traditional Google results page without the AI box at the top.
