Transcript
It’s Jacob here, and if you found this video, you’ve probably realised that your profile picture on WhatsApp is years out of date, and you want to know how to change it. Well, it’s really simple.
When you’re in WhatsApp, you’re going to tap onto your profile on the bottom toolbar. Then you’re going to tap onto your picture that’s currently there, the old one, and it will take you onto the Edit Profile screen.
From here, you can change your name, you can add a link if you want to, you can update your status, but crucially, you can tap on Edit Photo at the top there. At this point, you can find any picture in your photo album, and you can tap onto your Favourites as well, if you want to get a picture you know you’ve hearted in the past. And then when you tap on there, you can crop it and then hit Done.
From now on, any chat that you have, old or new, will use that new profile picture.
