Description

Did you know your iPhone keyboard has a hidden feature that lets you type without lifting your finger? It’s called Slide to Type: you simply glide from letter to letter and your iPhone works out the word for you, making it quick, surprisingly accurate and brilliant for typing one-handed. In this quick guide I’ll show you exactly where to turn it on in your keyboard settings, so you can start typing faster in seconds.

Transcript

Your iPhone’s got a hidden keyboard feature that makes typing way quicker and way more accurate than tapping each letter individually. It’s called Slide to Type, and essentially you can type by sliding your finger across the keyboard, a bit like dot-to-dot, hitting the letters that you want for each word. It’s really quick and really quite accurate.

To turn it on, jump into the Settings app and, at the bottom, search for Keyboard. Then on the keyboard settings screen, you want to go about halfway down, and you’ll find the option for Slide to Type. Turn it on.

Then jump back in the comments of this video and just simply try to swipe your finger across the keyboard and leave me a message.
