Transcript
The Fitness app on iOS 18 has undergone a design overhaul and now features a widget-based interface displaying key information about your fitness levels. You can customise this app to display the information that is most important to you on the summary page. Simply scroll down to the bottom and tap “Edit Summary”.
From here, you’ll notice that my summary screen has gone into that “jiggle mode” that your iOS home screen sometimes goes into. You can remove widgets or tap and drag to relocate them. You can also press “Add” in the top left corner to access a variety of different widgets and data points to add to your home screen.
Here you can see options like “Trends”, different workout types, Fitness Plus, all your rings information, and more. You can choose what to add just like adding a widget to your home screen. I’m going to add the Fitness Plus recommended workout card. When I tap on it and press “Add to Summary”, it will appear just like any other object on that screen. I’ll tap and hold, then drag it up slightly so it’s easier to see. Now you can see that I’ve customised my summary page on Fitness Plus.
Just because I haven’t chosen to include something on the home screen doesn’t mean it’s gone forever. At the bottom, I can go on to “See All Categories”. From here, I can access all the data in the Fitness app to browse and explore whenever I want.
There are some other big changes in the Fitness app this year, including setting custom daily move goals and rest days for your rings. If you want to learn how they work, check out my channel down below where there are hundreds more iPhone quick tips, including loads for iOS 18.
