Transcript
For a long time, we wanted to be able to Zip and Unzip files using the Files app on iPad. Now, with iPad OS, you can select multiple Files or just a single File if you need to and press More in the bottom right corner of your screen. From here, you can go to Compress, and that will create a zip file for you. If you want to rename this Zip File, simply tap-and-hold on it for a long press and tap on rename. Let me just delete those Files that I’ve now Zipped up and then to show you how to Unzip them. It’s really, really simple. Simply tap once on that Zipped File, and a new folder will be created of all of those files inside that folder for you. So we can now natively Zip and Unzip straight in the Files App on iPad OS and iOS 13.
