In the Journal app, you can add memories and photos of recent events. Additionally, there are writing prompts available if you prefer journaling in that manner.

When I add a new entry and navigate to the Recommended tab, it should be there by default. As I scroll down, I encounter various text-based memory ideas. These prompts are designed to be open-ended, allowing you to add your reflections and thoughts.

However, I don’t always like all the options presented. Not to worry, though; I can simply tap the Regenerate button in the corner. This action will provide me with a new prompt, and I can repeat this process until I find one that resonates more with me. Tapping on the chosen prompt adds a new journal entry, giving me a clear idea of what to write about and reflect upon.

This approach is quite beneficial as it encourages reflection on aspects that might not have been considered for inclusion in the journal. Up until now, my entries have primarily consisted of photos and locations. Exploring different prompts has prompted me to think differently, resulting in some interesting journal articles.

Once the entry is completed, it will appear in the feed as usual. A coloured box at the top will display the writing prompt, followed by my response underneath.
