Green Screen Magic Reveal
an iPad QuickLesson by Jacob Woolcock
For this #QuickLesson we’re going to learn how to use the Green Screen effect in iMovie to create a really fun ‘Magic Reveal’ style effect. You don’t need a huge green backdrop, instead all you need is a green object and some imagination. This Creative Challenge is designed to get you thinking differently about Green Screen in order to explore innovative and unusual uses of the technique.
I’ll teach you how to record your clip (and share some tips to make it look great!) and then how to use Keynote to adjust and reposition your videos if required. Then we’ll bring it all together in iMovie to create something really special.
So grab an iPad – or maybe get your class to grab their iPads – and let’s get started!
